A Bachelor of Medicine degree is one of the best courses that students with an A grade in KCSE can pursue. The course takes six years of three semesters each to complete. Students that manage to score 82 points and above in their KCSE have high chances of being selected to pursue this course in any of the universities that offer this course. The minimum entry requirements for this course for the regular students at the University of Nairobi is an A plain.

However, students with an A- grade can still pursue this course at Kenyatta University, Moi University, or Maseno University.
