The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) wishes to inform all prospective loan applicants that the deadline for submission of second and subsequent loan application form review is set to be 30th April 2015.
All students of various universities are expected to have submitted the forms to the HELB offices before the mentioned date. Students are advised to ensure safe delivery of the loan application forms to avoid cases of students complaining that their application forms were not delivered.
It is the responsibility of every applicant to ensure that his/her form arrives to the office in time for consideration. The deadline mentioned should be adhered to by all students to avoid the board from locking them out so that they are then forwarded for consideration.
The board will forward a list of successful loan applicants to various universities in the country to facilitate registration and inclusion in fee payments of the various students. The inclusion in the fee status of the students then will help students in the fee payments in the next semesters of the academic year.
Hence students depending on the HELB loan should not be worried as the board is working closely and with the universities to ensure that they are not inconvenienced in any way in regard to their studies. HELB has and will continue to honor its commitments to the students and no continuing student will suffer any loss in relation to their previous loan awards.
All the application forms that will have arrived to the HELB offices by 30th will then be considered and the information on the status of the same will be available in the portals for review. Any student wishing to get the loan review form is expected to log into student portal and access the loan review form.
