Multimedia University of Kenya wishes to inform all candidates who qualified for various academic awards and the conferment of degrees that the 2nd Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 23rd October 2015 at the Mbagathi Campus.
All candidates who qualified are requested to clear with the University prior to confirmation of their attendance.
All students must apply for Graduation through the MMU Portal found on www.mmu.ac.ke. Only those students who have fully cleared will be able to apply for graduation.
A mandatory non-refundable fee is payable for the various awards as follows:
- Bachelors Degree – 4,500/-
- Diploma – 3,500/-
All payments should be made before Friday, 16th October, 2015 only through Kenya Commercial Bank – A/c No. 110 451 3447
Verification of Names
Ensure your names are correctly spelt and are in the right order as you would like them to appear on the Certificate. Confirmation will be done through the respective faculties by Friday, 16th October, 2015.
Graduation gowns will be collected from the office of the Registrar Academic Affairs from Thursday 15th to Wednesday 21st October, 2015 between 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m. All graduands must present a filled Gown Hiring Form, available on MMU Portal.
The gowns will be returned to the same office during working hours (on weekdays) from Monday 26th to Friday 30th October 2015 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A penalty of KShs. 200.00 per day will be charged for every day after the deadline.
Each graduand will receive three (3) graduation cards and one (1) car pass to invite family and friends. These may be collected from the Office of the Registrar Academic Affairs alongside the collection of gowns.
There will be a mandatory rehearsal for graduation on Thursday, 22nd October 2015 at 12:00 noon. This is a requirement and all graduands must attend fully dressed in their academic attire.
The graduation ceremony will commence promptly at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, 23rd October 2015. All graduands must be on campus and be seated by 8:00 a.m. Graduands who come late will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Parents, family and friends will be permitted in their designated areas.
