Students Rush for Dictionaries as PLO Lumumba Lands on Kenyatta University Grounds

Kenyatta University is set to host the prolific Professor P.L.O Lumumba today 5th October 2015 at the University’s Amphitheatre for a public lecture. Students are expected to be seated and settled at the stated venue by 2pm for the lecture to begin at exactly 2.30pm.The programme indicates that the session is to end at 4.30 pm.

 

The eloquent professor is a PhD holder in Laws of the Sea from the University of Ghent,Belgium.He currently serves as the Director Kenya School of law.The renowned legal practitioner was a student leader in his hey days at the University of Nairobi.

Comrades will have alot to learn from professor Lumumba owing to his vast expertise in law,leadership, public service and other fields.The professor is well known as one of the best public speakers in and out of the country, comrades better be armed with dictionaries if your mastery of the Queen’s language is poor.

 

This is the third public lecture that Kenyatta University has held since the commencement of the busy September semester. Mid last month legislators were hosted at the Amphitheatre for a forum on public participation. This was chaired by the speaker of the National Assembly Honorable Justin Muturi.Motivational speaker Pepe Minambo was also at the institution to inspire comrades to soar to great heights.

 

It seems that Kenyatta University is committed to mentor it’s students by facilitating a close interaction among the students and renowned professionals so that the latter can learn from the best.Well known for its state of the art infrastructure the University also hosted President Obama during his visit and is the home of the Young African Leadership Initiative(YALI)

 

We hope that comrades will embrace the lessons from Professor P.L.O Lumumba.
