Death has robbed University of Nairobi’s Parklands Law school a brilliant comrade Deborah Leslie Rugut .The late Miss Deborah succumbed to cardiac arrest after a heart failure.
The death was a big blow to the family of the 22 year old. She was set to graduate from Law school on the 29th of December but death coldly took her away before she realized this dream.
There have been rumours that the deceased was electrocuted by earphones doing rounds on social media.However a family member refuted the claims and affirmed that her death was as a result of heart failure.
Rest in peace Deborah.You fought a good fight.
Even as the above is happening, sad gloomy faces are spread across the university grounds and lecture halls over the demise of yet another student. The student who was suffering from cancer succumbed to the illness a day ago at Kenyatta National Hospital where she has been receiving treatment.
Student leaders across the universities in Kenya have already sent their condolences to the family and relatives of the late Milka. The students were in the process of contributing money to help her undergo a surgical operation in India, a dream which never came true.
Babu Owino while delivering his message of condolence informed the public that students and the union will hold a fundraiser to help get the 1.5 Million shillings hospital bill which had accrued over the period Milka had stayed at KNH.
