Ryno, a well known Q Fm presenter died in a fatal car accident along Mombasa road at around 2:00am today. The car rolled and he was thrown out of his vehicle. He hosted the huba huba magaba show in Q fm where he used to talk plainly facts about marriages, relationships and sex life.The young talented and rich radio presenter was so passionate and energetic in radio presenting.
He was the youngest radio presenter in kenya after Obinna of Easy Fm. Kukuni was a late-night presenter in Q-FM who’s show,Vuka na Stye,became a hit Kenya has ever seen.
After his struggles in studies, Ryno moved to Nairobi for the first time in search of greener pastures. However much he got hard time adapting to the city life, Kukuni enrolled at the Eat Africa Media Institute (EAMI) where he graduated with a diploma in media studies. He then got lucky to land his first job at NMG’s Swahili station Q fm where he met many more experienced presenters like Awinja.
Even at his untimely demise, Kukuni was a hardworking staff of Q fm and died in the line of duty. This energetic hero in the field of radio presentation will be really missed by many. At his age, he was expected to do more and be a role model to the ever expectant journalists in making. This has been uneasy to accept by the entire Q fm family, his family and fans who feel like their Vuka Na Style show is dead too. The advices Kukuni used to give were amazing and listeners could stay till late in the night just to listen to his powerful healig advces. Tony Kukuni is dead. This pains but then what can we do? Weve lost a hero. Gone too soon. Rest in peace Ryno.
