A first year Media and Communication student at Multimedia university weathered stiff competition in the ladies category beating ten other finalists to be crowned queen of the institution.
Anne Karime, 19, emerged the 2014 Mr. and Miss MMU in an event which was filled with thrills and frills throughout the night at Deep West Resort in Nairobi.
The event also saw Vivian Achieng and Cynthia Apondi emerge the Miss MMU first and second runners up, respectively while Alphonse Kebaso and Bevone Keith scoop the Mr MMU first and second runners up, respectively.
Kingsley and Karime have all vowed to use their new status to help the needy and orphans in the country through charity work and donations.
The event saw students, dance to the rhythm and beat of the night to crown the event. This surprised many because another group had spread rumors within the institutions compound that their students organization had squandered funds for the event and that it would flop.
