Former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi is today celebrating his birthday. The former president retired in 2002 and has since been living a life out of the public eye. The Kabarak university chancellor will today be interacting with the students fraternity in Nakuru.

The students have so far come out to celebrate the 92nd birthday of the much decorated former president of Kenya. Through their students president, the entire fraternity has poured alot of praise to the 24 year long former leader of government in Kenya. The president has described Moi as his character moulder.

“Today, the 2nd of September, 2016 is the birthday of the man I respect and admire most. He is the Chancellor of the prestigious Kabarak University and retired President H. E Daniel T. Arap Moi. He always reminds us the students of Kabarak University to put God first and have great character.

He is commonly known for the quote that, ” If you lose your wealth, you have lost nothing, if you lose your health you have lost something but if you lose your character you have lost everything. ”
