Kenyatta University 2018 Graduates Urged to Collect Certificates

In a notice recently shared by Kenyatta University (KU), the 45th graduation graduates of the year 2018 have been called upon by the registrar academics to go and collect their university academic certificates. The alumni called graduated on the 14th December 2018.

The university has said that their certificates are ready for issuing via the graduation and certificates issuance office. The office is located in KU main campus, room 147, at the central administration complex.

During the graduation ceremony, the university had six thousand six hundred (6,600) students who managed to graduate from various fields of study.

The following were stated as the pick up dates for certificates for the various schools;

  • 9th January – 18th January – School of Education & School of Business
  • 21st January – 1st February – School of Economics,

    School of Public Health and Applied Human Sciences, School of Pure and Applied Sciences, School of Medicine, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and School of Security, Diplomacy and Peace Studies

  • 4th February – 15th February – School of Law, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, School of Agriculture & Enterprise Development, School of Creative and Performing Arts, Film and Media Studies, School of Engineering and Technology and School of Environmental Studies

The students are informed that; a storage fee of KES. 1200/- per year shall be levied on any uncollected certificates after 31st December 2019. To get your certificate, a clearance with the university is a pre-requisite for collection. Students who graduated before 2018 are also urged to collect their certificates to avoid accumulation of storage charges.
