MKU Entrepreneurial Students to Study in UK under New Exchange Program

Mount Kenya University through its graduate enterprise academy has entered into an exchange programme  with the University of the West of Scotland that will see entrepreneurial students benefit.

Flanked by the Director of assurance and linkage at the University Prof Peter Wanderi and the CEO of heart for the city purpose centre in London Lukas Njenga when they announced that the MOU to formalize the partnership will be signed   in two or three months Prof. John Struthers of the University of the West of Scotland said that they had  partnered with the university after realizing that the university had a keen interest and emphasis on the students entrepreneurship which leads to job creation.

The programme will see students from both universities benefit from an exchange programme in the areas of entrepreneur and economic research.

Prof Struthers who is the Director centre for African research on enterprise and economic development (CAREED) at the university and a member of UNCTAD working group on global value chains in commodities said that his university has a chain of campuses in UK with a curriculum on entrepreneurship.
