A third year Moi university student is stuck in Saudi Arabia. The student had gone to look for a job but now appeals to Kenyans to help her come back home.
Her mother, Jane Wanyoni, a single mother of four said that her daughter decided to go look for ways through which she could raise her school fees which was a challenge to them in the family. She said that her daughter defered her studies for two years to go for the Saudia Arabian job.
However two months after Sarah had left, she started complaining of being mistreated by her employer. She explained that she is forced to work for 24 hours with no food or rest and has been nose bleeding from her employers beatings.
All she wants is to come back, a wish that has proven to be hard with each passing day. She says she does not know where she is because her employer does not allow her to see the sun. Furthermore her agent, Hasfa Mohammed’s numbers are all unreachable.
The mother is now appealing to the government to intervene and help her bring her lovely daughter back home.
